9 MATRIX features for training innovation
MATRIX helps companies manage all e-learning activities, whether it’s delivering effective training, evaluating employee performance, training external clients, or selling online courses. We’re focused on bringing innovation into training activities by adding cutting-edge features such as adaptive learning and personalized competency-based learning.
Find out how MATRIX can help you innovate your training programs:
Showcase your courses to learners using the course catalog. This feature is fully customizable and shows available items organized into categories and subcategories. Each course has its own overview page with important details such as the course description and price. The catalog has a search function and featured items to make navigation easier.
Make sure course content is compliant with the competencies you want to teach and assess. Instructors can build competencies and align them with content and assessments, and even tag individual questions from question banks with competencies. They can also see mastery levels for all learners using the mastery grid and generate reports to track learner performance.
Our platform offers all the e-commerce tools you need to sell online courses, learning paths, digital media items, and more. We integrate with the most popular payment gateways, such as PayPal, Stripe, and PayU Latam, and also support multiple currencies. Companies can keep track of orders and run reports on general and detailed sales. You can also divide revenue by Organizations, include taxes in the prices, and customize the shopping experience.
Sign up affiliates who can earn commissions by advertising your courses via their unique affiliate referral link. This feature allows you to create affiliate accounts and run reports on affiliates. For each visitor converted to user, the Affiliate will receive a commission set by the system administrator as a percentage of the purchased amount. The affiliate receives the commission via PayPal.
Dynamically personalize modules, assessments, and learning paths with the adaptive learning feature. You can hide and show content based on each learner’s performance. For example, an instructor can hide basic content and show only the more advanced modules to the learners that took a high score on a quiz. It makes evaluating performance easier and enriches the training experience.
Your MATRIX website can host separate organizations representing each department, company branch, or external clients. For example, the HR department has its own portal, complete with its own administrators, learners, courses, and more. You can also customize organizations with their own brand, and URL. For a detailed overview, generate reports and statistics for each organization.
Administrators can moderate communications using the monitoring feature. You can also receive alerts about potentially offensive words. Learners are notified that their communications are being monitored. You have access to the message, post and chat summaries, plus the communication transcriptions. Instructors also have access to this feature, but can only monitor their learners.
By using the Proctor feature, you can restrict learners’ access to assessments. There are three types of restrictions: learners can only access the assessment when it is time for the assessment to begin; they can access it through an access code; or only see the assessment from a specific IP address.
Reports and dashboards
Stay informed by creating charts and reports of important data such as module progress, course status, course completion, and more. MATRIX also offers custom reports on users, certificates, courses, sales orders and more. Administrators can track important areas through real-time dashboards with separate widgets for courses, learners, e-commerce, enrollments, and more. Dashboards are also available for courses, providing the same detailed and visual view for the instructor.
